The Earth Pyramid

The Hoodoo (also known as the earth tower, and the earth pyramid) is a thin, high rises tower of rocks, from the bottom of a basin or dry land. Hoodoos are made of soft sedimentary rock, and are crowned with a piece of heavy stone weathered difficult to protect the column against the elements.

They are mainly found in the desert, the dry and hot. In common usage, the difference between hoodoos and pinnacles and needles that have a variable thickness Hoodoos often described as a "totem pole-shaped body is."
